About Us

Creating the standard for a new generation

In 2010, I founded Retty.

Which mountain you climb will determine most of your life.
If I only live once, I want to climb the highest mountain and see the view that can only be seen from there.

In 2010, with this in mind, I moved to the United States to find a business field where I could bet my life.

In the U.S, I was able to experience firsthand the deep penetration of the Internet into people's lives and the revolution in information dissemination due to the spread of smartphones and social networking services.
I was looking for a place where I could bet my life, while looking at the amazing startups that were impacting the world.

Then I came across the field of "food".
It is a culture that Japan is proud of, and it enriches the lives of many people. I was convinced that it was the right place to bet my life.

Today, with the convergence of eating out and eating in, the decline in the working population, and the evolution of technology, the need for food services has become more pressing.

However, the experience of "food" still shines brightly.
Although the style of food service is expected to change drastically with the evolution of technology, the value of "making people happy through food" is immutable.

In 2020, we were listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers and entered a new stage of growth.

We still have a lot of things to work on, such as further evolving the search for restaurants using vast amounts of data, promoting the digitalization of restaurants, and improving the in-restaurant experience.

Shaping a new food experience for a happier future.

We will continue to challenge boldly in the huge food industry to create new food experiences that will become the future standard.

Please look forward to the future of Retty.

Kazuya Takeda
CEO, Retty Inc.

Vision

Shaping a new food experience
for a happier future

Food holds many potentials.

Flavors that touch our heart
and ambience that bring us joy
have the power to make us smile.

Powered by technology
we will unlock the potential of food.

There must be more we can do
to enrich lives.

Team Retty will work together
with friends who are supporting the food system today
to shape a food experience that will be the standard in the coming ten years.
